M4 A1 Carbine [SOPMOD]
This 5.66mm Carbine is a lightweight, gas operated, air cooled, magazine fed, selective fire rate (single, semi, full), shoulder fired weapon with a collapsible stock. It is equipped to operate in both close and ranged quarters with its short barrel and it's now modified rail. Even though it has over 80% commonality with the M16A2 Rifle, it is radically different in it's superior power, accuracy, and design, as it provides the individual soldier, Alara, the capability to engage targets with shockingly lethal fire.
Personal Modifications
Picatinny Rail: this is a bracket is used in order to provide a quick, standardized, mounting platform for a more accurate still-shot.
Triicon TA01/TA31 ACOG: a naturally powered, reflex and (1.5x to 6x) magnification scope that uses external fiber optic light-gathering rail when available light is plentiful, and by an internal tritium lamp during low-light use.
EOTech 550 Sights: are 1100-hour battery-powered cross hair and holographic sight systems for superior aim.
Aimpoint M68 Close Combat Optic: a sight optic used for night/day light contrast (night) vision.
AN/PEQ Infered Illuminator: with the optional extended battery pack, as installed, this modification allows night/day heat (infared) vision.
Sound Supression Kit: this cylindrically shaped metal tube is compact with various internal mechanisms to reduce the sound of a fired bullet.
Beretta 92G Elite II
This 9mm, Italian made, semi-automatic is the standard and flagship military pistol. The Beretta 92G Elite II is fitted with the heavy Brigadier slide and a mounted decocking device for quick rounds and is based on the original Beretta 92G.. The slide is made out of stainless steel, while the black anodized aluminium alloy gives it a strong structural, and near unbreakable, form. The stainless steel barrel is slightly shorter than other Baretta 92 pistols in order to reduce the risk of damaging the barrel muzzle. It is also standardly fitted with Novak style fixed target sights and cross hairs.
